Your screen stays yours.

Screen and sensors
The app processes live screen frames in memory on your Mac to render the effect. It does not record them to video, send them to a server or use a camera. Lid angles and settings are processed locally. Development diagnostics may contain timing, hardware and error information; users should review diagnostics before sharing them.
Licensing
Activation sends a license key, a random installation identifier and an activation instance identifier to our HTTPS license service. The service checks them with Lemon Squeezy. The identifier is not a hardware serial number. The app stores the license state in the macOS Keychain.
Purchased licenses may be revalidated online approximately once a week while the app runs. Screen contents and lid angles are not included. A temporary connection failure does not expire a previously verified purchase. A confirmed revoked license may stop licensed access.
Website and infrastructure
This website has no advertising pixels, analytics scripts or third-party embeds. Its hosting and network providers necessarily process requests, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and secure the site. The application code does not intentionally log license keys or store screen frames. Provider logs and retention are controlled by the providers.
Payments
When sales open, checkout will be hosted by Lemon Squeezy. Payment, order and tax information will be handled through that provider. This site does not collect card details. See Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy.
Control and contact
You can disable the effect, turn off audio control, revoke Screen Recording permission or remove the app. Deactivate a purchased license before changing Macs. A privacy and support contact will be published on the support page before checkout opens.
