Will it work on every MacBook?
No. It needs a compatible built-in lid angle sensor. Check the current testing scope and try it on your Mac before buying. External displays do not receive the effect.
Why does macOS block the first launch?
This early-access build is ad-hoc signed and has not been notarized by Apple. macOS may ask you to allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Read the installation steps and try the app before buying. Updates may require permission again.
Why does it need Screen Recording?
macOS requires that permission to render your live desktop. Frames are processed in memory, without saving a recording or uploading your screen. The sample preview needs no screen permission.
Does it track my eyes?
No camera or eye tracking. The visual effect uses the lid angle and an assumed viewing position; it is not exact physical space tracking.
What happens to my audio?
Audio control is optional. Playback continues while the app lowers the default output’s volume. Manual volume or mute changes take priority. Some HDMI and digital outputs do not support software volume control.
Is it a privacy lock?
No. It does not replace locking your Mac or hide content from screen sharing. Locked screens and protected video are outside its scope.
What does the license cover?
One person, up to 3 Macs, the purchased major version and its maintenance releases. Future paid major upgrades are optional. See the license and refund terms.
